A representative of the Illinois Library School Association has been appointed in each state. This representative has been asked to be respon, iblVfor arranging each year reunions of Illinois alumni and former students at the time of the annual state meetings of librarians. The purpose of these meetings is three-fold, to foster professional friendships, to maintain an active interest in the Library School and to collect dues for the Secretary-Treasurer of the Association. In the coming days of a planned society we shall be able to exchange experiences and promote the best in our communities through such organizations as our alumni association. The following reports of reunions have been received.

From Gretchen Knief, Los Angeles County Library The California Library Association had a reunion of Illinois Library School alumni at its meeting in Pasadena early in May. Our dinner was held at the Arroyo. Around the large round table in a private dining room, twelve Illini gathered to renew acquaintance, become acquainted, and to do honor to Mr. Windsor. Those present were: Jeannette Drake, Librarian of the Pasadena Public Library; Mrs. Anne Fraser Leidendeker, Helen Laughlin and Gladys Sandifur, all of the Science and Industry Dept. of the Los Angeles Public Library; John Paul Stone and Geraldine Kirkham of San Diego State Teachers Library, with Mrs. Stone; Mrs. Ada Nelson Whiting, Librarian of the Hyde Park Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library; Alice Coldren, Reference Librarian of the University of California, Los Angeles; Mabel V. Miller, Jessie J. Glass, Librarian of the Olive View Branch of the Los Angeles County Library, and I. As far as entertainment went, we fared better than most groups, I believe, since Miss Drake had just completed her five-month tour of the world, traveling around the southern hemisphere chiefly. She held us spell-bound with her tales, particularly of Japan. j From Mildred A. Kenney of the Public Library of Denver, Colorado Illini of the Library School in the Rocky Mountain district were invited to a dinner n the Ohio Hotel in Denver on May Sth, the night of the dinner at 1 ™ ! i J*r.
