Iristian University at Fori Worth, has been appointed librarian U I ithe of n c Rosenborg Library at Galveston. Katherine A. Doyle, '21-22. was married to Jackson E. Towne TW Q 2, on May 5th, 1934, in New York City. Miss Doyle has been the Head f the Periodical department at the University of Illinois Library and so is well known to many of the alumni. They will be at home in the Dean Vpartments, 427 Grove Street, East Lansing, Michigan, where Mr Towne is librarian of the Michigan State College. Ruth Larimer, '21-22, who was married October 10, 1933, to Dr. F E Vest, resigned her position as Reference Librarian of the Kansas State Library, Topeka, Kansas, February, 1934. Kate S. Kepler, B.L.S. '22, is now librarian of Northland College Library, Ashland, Wisconsin. Clare K. Luger Gillen, '24-25, is now living at 6055 North Kent Avenue, Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. She is very busy taking care of her two mall children. Sarah Blair, B.L.S. 1923, has recently died, after a long illness, according to information received indirectly by the Library School. Miss Blair has been Librarian of Shurtlef f College, Alton, Illinois, since October, 1916. She received her Ph.B. degree from Shurtleff College in 1892, and an LL.B. in 1902 from Benton College of Law. Eleanor M. Roy, B.S. '27, is now Mrs. Mario Mascarina. She is working at the U. S. Veterans Hospital Library, Camp Custer, Michigan. j Anna L. Thrall, B.S. '29, visited on the campus this spring. She is at the East Side Branch of the Public Library, Evansville, Indiana. Katherine E. Buhrman, B.S. '29, has recently accepted the position of Assistant, Illinois State Historical Library, Springfield, Illinois. Myrne Moffit, B.S. '29, is now Hospital librarian of the Veterans' Administration Facility, Gulf port, Mississippi. Carrie Louise H. Clark, B.S. '30, is now Mrs. Sereno Burton, according to indirect information received by the Library School office. Her address is still 423 West Huron Avenue, Bad Axe, Michigan, so far as can be learned. Ruth Elliott, B.S. '30, died at Fairfield, Iowa on February 21, 1934, after a brief illness from pneumonia. She was a graduate of Parsons Colkge in 1927 and of the Library School of the University of Illinois in *930. Since her graduation she had been assistant librarian of Parsons College; she was also active in social and religious work in her community. Blanche B. McKeown, B.S. '31, is going to work this summer in the D d t a State Teachers College Library, Cleveland, Mississippi. Margaret K. Wagner, B.S. '31, was married December 18, 1933, to Mr. Robert A. Kesterson. She is now Head cataloger, Potter County library, Amarillo, Texas. Jeanette II. Clausen. B.S. '31, has been appointed children's librarian f the Free Public Library, Appleton, Wisconsin. Mary Helen James, B.S. '31, has been awarded a Carnegie Corporat] "n Fellowship for research in the field of library science. The fellowship will provide a stipend of $2,000 which will be used in travelling trough the nine Southeastern States gathering material for the conipilaI 13 1
