Curry, librarian of Christian University, Fort Wayne, Texas, Treasurer; Harriet Dickson, Children's Librarian, Houston Public Library, Secretary. Mary S. Buffum, librarian of Texas State College for Women, Denton, is College and University Library editor for Texas Neti's Notes. Alice Harrison, librarian of the High School, Austin, Texas, is High School editor. Upper Peninsula Library Association Ethel Binney, librarian of Menominee, Michigan, was President of the Association 1931-32. ALUMNI GOSSIP I J Sarah Elizabeth Montross, '97-'99, a member of the staff of the John Crerar Library from 1899 to 1931, died on September 11, 1932. She was a member of the first class of the Library School after it moved to the University of Illinois from Armour Institute, Chicago, in th<. fall of 1897. I Sarah Ambler, B.L.S. '00, librarian of the Superintendent of Documents Office since 1907, retired from active work in June. The staff of the documents department gave a party in her honor and presented her with a twenty dollar gold piece as a mark of the appreciation and friendship. I Linda Clatworthy, B.L.S.
