for five years. That's easy, isn't it? The principal denved from this source is to be kept inviolate, the interest on the money to be used for scholarships. From the first it was thought that two hundred such memberships would have to be secured before interest on the sum would warrant issuing a scholarship. Forfiveyears we have been striving at the goal of two hundred life members. There are now 184— still sixteen short of the goal. However, with some gifts and interest the fund now amounts to a little over $5,000.00. We want to start issuing a scholarship just as soon as the income will be large enough to warrant it. . . . I am hoping to have an active campaign tor memberships soon after the first of the year, so if you are not a member now, and don't send in a check within the next few weeks, don't be surprised at getting some friendly solicitations for dues in this Association. There has been a suggestion of limiting the circulation of the News Letter to members of the Association in order to cut expenses. We dislike doing this unless necessary, however, as we feel sure that all former members of the School would like to continue receiving the letter as you are doing now. If so, won't you bear your share of the expense ? I am counting on each of you to help make this a successful year in the history of the Association. Most sincerely, Lois F.
