Cecelia McCarthy, A.M. '29, will retain her position in the T ^ « L n n Department of the University of Illinois Library. ^ Utha McGuire, A M '29, has been appointed cataloger in the University of California Library at Los Angeles, California Hazel Rea, A.M. '29, is librarian of the Eastern Oregon Normal School, La 29, has been appointed librarian Washingt Jeanette Van der Ploeg, A.M. 29 San J 1929 Walker. She will continue her work as cataloger i John Library, Chicago, 111. Janice Parham, '28-'29, has resigned her position in the Univer of Florida Library and was married last fall to Jach Hester. They at present living in Gainesville, Florida. Carlvle Morris. '28-'29. and Mrs. Morris announce the h\rth c daughter on March 11th. Chicago Public Library. Jinety-nine students received the degree of B.S. in Library Science June and August. Nearly all of these appointments were aniced in either the Library Journal or Libraries earlv in the fall so be repeated 1929 are urged to send in any notices of change of position, or other items of interest, so that thev mav appear in the next News Letter.
