pproval of the Council of Administration of the TniTcrsity of Illinois. Section 7. Any by-laws may be amended at any regular meeting of the Board , Q (7) Officers and their duties Section 1. The officers of the Board of Directors shall be a Chairman, a Secretary, a Business Manager, and an Editorial Supervisor. These with the exception of the Chairman, shall be by members of the Board, to hold office for one year, or until their successors are elected. The election of said officers shall take place within one week after the annual election of the undergraduate trustees. * *™ Section 2. The duties of the officers shall be the usual duties pertaining to their respective offices. Section 3. The Chairman shall prepare an annual report to be published in the Daily lllini, shall be the custodian of the funds of the company, shall appoint committees, and shall make such official re. rts as mav be required by the laws of the State or the regulations of the University. * Section 4. The Business Manager shall be the custodian of the physical property and the books of the Company, and of the publications. He shall represent the company in all ordinary business dealings with employees and other business concerns and with the student managers of the several publications under the direction of the lllini Publishing Company. He shall render to the Directors a monthly financial report of all publications of the Company* He shall be required to furnish a bond in such sum aa shall be determined by the Directors. Section 5. The Editorial Supervisor shall assist student editors of all publications in establishing an editorial and a news policy, and shall serve aa the representative of the editorial side of publications in conferring with the Business Manager o the Com* pany relative to cooperation of the editorial and business staffs.

(8) Staff of the Daily lllini I Editorial Staff * 1. The editorial staff of the Daily lllini shall consist of an Editor-in-Chief, Chief News I litor, i'hief iEditorial Writer, Woman's Editor and Sports Kdi% tor, and such news editors, reporters and othei M members as may be approved by the Hoard. 2.
