isations and Activities for audit, together with reports as he may require, in the case of "*»«ftmhg organisations semi-annually, and in all within thirty days after the event for which the organisation was constituted. Written contracts shaU be made by all organisations and publications in all transactions involving sums exceeding one hundred dollars ($100), and copies of these contracts shall be submitted to the Chairman of the Committee on Student Organisations and Activities for approval and record before they are signed. The Committee on Student Organization* and Activities will withhold approval of contracts made by student organisations and publications until it appears that such contracts have tered into on the basis of free and open competition on specifications duly submitted. The above regulation! will not apply to organs**ions bona which have been placed by the Council of Administration under the supervision of special boards or committees. (b) Solicitations of contributions. No student or* ganiration9 or student acting in the name of an or* {puliation, shall solicit or receive contributions from persons outside of its own membership for an* t u t pose, unless permission to do so has been previously granted by the Council of Administration. (c) Bonds. The proper officers of all tions shall, upon the request of the Committee on Student Organizations and Activities, furnish a suit* able bond for the faithful performance of their re» ective duties. Such bonds must be approved by e Legal Counsel of the University and depositee with the Bursar in the Business Office. (d) Publication Of financial statements. Ftnancial statements of the various student organizations after being approved by the Committee on Student Organizations and Activities shall be published each year in the Illini. In addition the Treasurer of the Student Organizations Fund shall publish occasional reports at his discretion.
