RESOLUTION ON DR. A. C. IVY Mr. Grange moved that the action referring the resolution on Dr. A. C. Ivy offered earlier in the meeting by Mr. Nickell to the Committee on the Chicago Departments be reconsidered. 1 Following discussion, this motion was passed by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Fornof, Mr. Grange, M r s . T h e resolution being again before the Board, Mr. Johnston moved that it be referred back to the sponsor for redrafting in consultation with other members of the Board, and that it be presented in revised form at the next meeting. " RESOLUTIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY SENATE ON KREBIOZEN RESEARCH PROJECT AND ACADEMIC FREEDOM At the request of the University Senate, the President of the University has submitted to the Board of Trustees three reports on resolutions on the subjects of Krebiozen research and academic freedom adopted by the Senate on December 19, 1952. Copies of these documents have been filed with the Secretary of the Board for record. BIENNIAL BUDGET FOR 1953-1955 The President of the Board presented a letter from the Honorable Everett R. Peters, Chairman of the Illinois Budgetary Commission, suggesting that the Board of Trustees review the University's budget estimates for 1953-1955 with the thought that they could be reduced. 1 Sec minutes, page 493; Secretary's note.
