Dear Sir, Subject: Additional Information on the October 21, I960 Nuclear Reactor Laboratory Dedication P r o g r a m A few days ago you should have received an invitation to the dedication of our new Nuclear Reactor Laboratory to be held October 21st on the campus at Urbana. The attached preliminary p r o g r a m provides additional information concerning the dedication. You will note that the p r o g r a m begins with registration and coffee at 11:00 a . m . and the dedication luncheon s t a r t s at 12:00 noon. The papers to be presented at the Symposium on the Future of Nuclear Engineering at 2:00 p. m . should be most interesting and timely. As indicated on the preliminary p r o g r a m , the dinner and evening activities a r e to be held jointly with the College of Engineering Alumni Committee. This group has been invited to attend the r e a c t o r dedication luncheon and symposium. It would be appreciated if you would complete and return the enclosed information card as promptly as possible. This will help us in planning accomodations for the group. We a r e looking forward to what we feel will be an interesting p r o g r a m , a s well as an opportunity to discuss this rapidly developing field of engineering. It is hoped that you will be able to attend. If we can be of assistance with your plans for travel or accomodations, please contact us. Sincerely yours, Ross J.f Martin, Chairman Nuclear Engineering Committee
