Nominations for the General Section shall be made by members of the Committee of ioo consisting of distinguished journalists in important countries of the world. Selection shall be made by the regular Hall of Fame Committee. Memorials authorized shall be similar to those in the state section and subject to the same approval. Elections to the General Section shall be held in 1930, 1935 and every five years thereafter. Individuals may bring names to the attention of the Committee of 100 or the Hall of Fame Committee at any time. Letters of recommendation should contain a sketch of the life, accomplishments, and connections with the press and public life.
