MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS July 21-22, 1948 The July meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held on Wednesday, July 21, and Thursday, July 22, 1948, at the Illini Union Building, in Urbana, according to the following schedule: July 21, 8:15 p.m. — Executive session as in Committee of the Whole. July 22, 9:30 a.m. — Open session. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Fornof, Mrs. Holt, Mr. McKelvey, Mr. McLaughlin, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Nickell, Mr. Williamson. Mr. Livingston took his place with the Board soon after the meeting began. Provost C. R. Griffith was present, acting for President Stoddard; also Vice-President A. C. Ivy, Secretary H. E. Cunningham, Comptroller Lloyd Morey, Legal Counsel W. E. Britton, and, during part of the evening, Director D. E. Dickason, Architect E. L. Stouffer, and Mr. N. C. Farr. I
