MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS November 2 3 , 1 9 4 5 With Executive Committee Meetings of November 23 and 2 9 , 1945 The November meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at 12 o'clock noon on Friday, November 23, 1945, at the University Club, 76 East Monroe Street, Chicago. The following members were present: President Livingston, Mr. Davis, Dr. Meyer, Mr. Nickell, Mr. Williamson. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Dr. R. B. Allen, Executive Dean of the Chicago Colleges, Professor C. R. Griffith, Provost, Professor W. E. Britton, Legal Counsel, and Mr. C. S. Havens, Director of the Physical Plant. The Board recessed. 905
