MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS July 17, 1940 With Executive Committee Meeting of July 17, 1940 The July meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the University Club, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon (Central Daylight Saving Time) on Wednesday, July ij, 1940. When the Board convened, the following members were present: President Pogue, Mr. Jensen, Mrs. Plumb, Mr. Wieland. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, University Counsel; and Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary. The Board recessed until 12:30 p.m. 1
