II. Meeting time — Next meeting will be at 5:00 on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd. Bad news — Carissa will be unable to continue as our treasurer so we need to elect another. Also, our counselor will not be helping us this year as her husband had a heart attack. Questions — Where is our registration form? III. IV. V. ? : Quad Day — Helium will be obtained at Dallas & Co. Officers are to help Karen man the booth and sign up prospective members. Engineer's Night is on Sept. 5 and all officers are to help answer questions and promote SWE. SWE is donating two bumper stickers for Engineering Council's raffle. Engineer's Night is from 6:00-8:30. Little Sis Banquet Order of Events 11:30 Set up 12:00 Begin to check in people 12:30 Begin, luncheon Julie has the welcome Karen L. introduces the officers Luncheon is served Introduction of guests Short game Slide Show Approximately 200 poeple are coming. Those officers with committees need to write a small blurb about them and return them to Julie by Friday noon. Karen L. is writing about the purpose of SWE and the tentative calendar of events. These handouts will be on the tables. Winners of the game will receive bumper stickers. VI. VII. Miscellaneous Karen explained the use of the secretaries. We have new mailboxes and names will be added on them soon. We will be getting our keys next week. Karen L. and Karen W. recounted the National Convention and gave their goals for SWE. Goals: 1. 2.
