RETIREMENT OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR YNGVE JORANSON (3) Dr. Yngve Joranson, Associate Professor of Anatomy on one-third time, requests that he be retired from active service effective May I, 1944, because of his health. H e is 65 years of age and has been in the service of the University since November, 1922. The law creating the Retirement System of Illinois permits retirement after age 60. I recommend approval. O n m o t i o n of M r . M c K e l v e y , t h i s r e t i r e m e n t w a s a u t h o r i z e d as recommended. ADMINISTRATION OF CURRICULUM IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY (4) A statement and recommendation of a change in the administration of the Curriculum in Occupational Therapy (Minutes, August 31, 1943, page 506). T h i s m a t t e r w a s r e f e r r e d t o t h e P r e s i d e n t of t h e U n i v e r s i t y for further study and report. DEDICATION OF LAND FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES IN CRAWFORD COUNTY (5) The Crawford County Superintendent of Highways requests the University to dedicate a strip of land along the east side of the University's Soil Experiment Field at Oblong, Illinois, for highway purposes (Federal secondary road). T h e total area of land required from the University's Experiment Field for this dedication is 12/100 acres. The County agrees to move the present fence and replace it upon a new right-of-way line without any cost to the University. The
