REVISED CURRICULUM I N MINING ENGINEERING (4) F o r several years the Department of Mining Engineering has offered four options in its curriculum. But the student enrollment has been small, most students have gone into coal mining, and there seems to be little justification for so wide a dispersion. Accordingly the Department, with the approval of the College of Engineering, has proposed to reduce its four options to a single integrated curriculum, which will be aimed especially at coal mining but which will also give adequate preparation for metal mining. In support of this adjustment, the courses in Mining Engineering have been largely revised and renumbered.
