MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS October 29-30, 1943 With Executive Committee Meetings of September 10 and 30 and October 19, 1943 The October meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Illini Union Building, at Urbana, at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 1943. The following members were present: President Livingston, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Karraker, Mr. McKelvey, Mr. Nickell. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information, and, during part of the evening, Mr. Newton C. Farr, negotiator. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of August 30-31, J943On motion of Mr. Davis, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 487 to 716 above. 717
