2 BOARD OF TRUSTEES MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT WILLARD [July 2$ The Board considered the following matters presented by the President of the University. CLINICAL FACULTY O F T H E COLLEGE O F MEDICINE 1942-1943 ( i ) A recommendation that the following appointments be made to the clinical non-salaried faculty of the College of Medicine for the academic year beginning September I, 1942, and that the President of t h e University be authorized to make such additional appointments and other changes as are desirable and necessary. T h e designation "Rush" in a title indicates that the individual was formerly on the faculty of Rush Medical College. Under an agreement entered into by the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois and the Board of Managers of t h e Presbyterian Hospital of Chicago, the University of Illinois appoints to its clinical faculty certain members of the staff of the Presbyterian Hospital and former members of the faculty of Rush Medical College. All appointments are for one year from September I, 1942, unless otherwise indicated. A summary by departments of the number of appointments and the comparative figures for 1041-1042 is also submitted. On motion of Mr. Jensen, these appointments were made and authority was granted as requested.
