LEAVES OF ABSENCE (1) A recommendation that the following leaves of absence be granted members of the staff for the reasons and periods and under the conditions indicated in each case, which a r e in accordance with the regulations of the Board governing such leaves: PETER HANSEN, Laborer in the Department of Horticulture, leave with full pay from December 19, 1942, to March 20, 1943, inclusive, because of illness. OSCAR F. WEBER, Professor of Education, sick leave with pay from February 1 through March 31, 1943, or until such previous date as he may be able to return to duty. WILLIAM G. H I L L , Associate Professor of Music, sick leave with full pay from February 8 through April 30, 1943. MARGARET L. BERG, Assistant in French, sick leave with pay from February 8 to March 15, 1943. M R S . LOUISE S. FRED, Medical Social Worker in the Department of Psychiatry, leave without pay from April 1 through August 31, 1943, with the understanding that the leave may be extended at a later date for one month, beginning September 1, in order that she may conduct certain work at the Chicago I n stitute for Psychoanalysis.
