MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS March 20, 1943 The annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 1943. The following members were present: President Meyer, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fornof, Mrs. Grigsby, Mr. Jensen, Mr. Karraker, Mr. Livingston, Dr. Luken, Mr. McKelvey, Mr. Nickell. Dr. Luken and Mr. McKelvey were present for the first time as members of the Board. President Willard was present; also Mr. A. J. Janata, Assistant to the President, Mr. H. E. Cunningham, Secretary, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, and during part of the day, Mr. Irvin L. Porter, Treasurer, Judge Sveinbjorn Johnson, Counsel, and Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meeting of February 20, 1943On motion of Mr. Jensen, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 265 to 298 above. 299
