Funds are available in the state appropriations to the University and in Federal Health Professions Capitation Grants for Fiscal Year 1979. The vice president for academic affairs and the vice president for administration concur. I recommend approval. The student advisory vote was: Aye, Miss Kooper, Mr. Sobotka, Mr. Watson; no, none. On motion of Mr. Neal, these contracts were awarded and authority was given as recommended by the following vote: Aye, Mr. Forsyth, Mr. Hahn, Mr. Howard, Mr. Lenz, Mr. Livingston, Mr. Neal, Mrs. Rader, Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. Velasquez; no, none; absent, Governor Thompson. Contracts for Physical Facility Services with Hospitals Affiliated with the College of Medicine (16) The chancellor at the Medical Center has recommended renewal of contractual agreements with eligible hospitals affiliated with the College of Medicine to provide partial compensation in fiscal year 1979 for the cost of operating and maintaining physical facilities constructed with State of Illinois Grants (through the Illinois Board of Higher Education) for the conduct of medical education programs. It is proposed that contractual agreements be executed between the University and the institutions listed as indicated below: Metropolitan Chicago Group of Affiliated Hospitals Institutions Illinois Masonic Medical Center L.
