588 B O A R D OF T R U S T E E S [June 15 APPOINTMENT OF DR. FRANCIS 1_. LEDERER AS HEAD O F THE DEPARTMENT O F LARYNGOLOGY, RHINOLOGY, A N D OTOLOGY (12) A recommendation that Dr. Francis L. Lederer, who has served as Acting Head of the Department of Laryngology, Rhinology, and Otology for the past two years, be appointed Head of the Department on indefinite tenure, effective immediately, a t his present salary rate of $1,630 for half-time service. On motion of Dr. Meyer, this appointment was made. RETIREMENT OF DR. HAIM I. DAVIS (13) A recommendation that Dr. Haim I. Davis, Professor of Psychiatry on the clinical faculty in the College of Medicine, be retired under the statutes of the University effective September 1,1934, with the title of Professor of Psychiatry, Emeritus. This recommendation was adopted. APPOINTMENTS T O COLLEGE O F MEDICINE CLINICAL FACULTY (14) A recommendation that t h e following appointments be made t o t h e clinical faculty of the College of Medicine, for the academic year beginning September 1,1934, and that the President of the University be authorized t o make such changes in this list as m a y be necessary.
