APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT The Secretary presented for record a list of appointments made by the Acting President of the University. Alexander, Lee Linsley, Assistant in Chemistry, on one-third time, for five months beginning February I, 1934, at a cash compensation at the rate of thirty-eight dollars ($38) a_ month. (February 12, 1934) 1 Beadles, Jessie R., Assistant in Animal Nutrition, in the Agricultural E x periment Station, for seven months beginning February I, 1934, at a cash compensation of one thousand two hunded ninety dollars ($1,290) a year (this supersedes her previous appointment). (February 22, 1934) Calkins, Albert Eugene, Assistant in Chemistry, on one-fourth time, for five months beginning February 1, 1934, at a cash compensation at the rate of twenty-eight dollars fifty cents ($28.50) a month. (February 12, 1934) Carey, George L., Instructor in the Denture Division, Prosthetic Department, of the College of Dentistry, three half days each week, beginning February 26, 1934, and continuing until August 31, 1934, without salary.
