Urbana Departments Penwell Coal Mining Company, 400 cars, more or less, to be supplied during the period September 1, 1933, to March 31, 1934, at a price of $.6885 F.O.B. Mine, with a current freight rate of $1.14. Peabody Coal Company for 250 cars to be delivered from their Westville mine at a price of $1,071 F.O.B. Mine, with a current freight rate of $.86. Chicago Departments Western Fuel Company of Chicago for approximately 1,550 tons of Pocahontas Mine Run coal to be delivered during the year beginning September 1, 1933, at a cost of $5.60 a ton delivered. 5. Pyrex laboratory glass wear, 115 cases at a total cost of approximately $2,100, for the various University laboratories for the first semester of 1933-34, from A. Daigger & Company, Chicago. This is a non-competitive item, manufactured only by the Corning Glass W o r k s of New York. Funds for this purchase are provided for in the budget. T h i s report w a s received for record.
