On motion of Mr. Trees, these fees were adopted.

RENTAL FEES FOR PRACTICE ORGANS (28) A recommendation that the fees charged for the rental of practice organs in the School of Music be reduced approximately twenty-five per cent as follows : Day Practice Present Fee Proposed Fee Small practice organs (one hour a day for one semester) $20 00 $15 00 Practice pipe organs (one hour a day for one semester) 25 00 18 75 Recital Hall organs (one hour a week for one semester) 5 00 3 75 Evening Practice Practice pipe organs (one hour a week for one semester) 425 3 25

On motion of Mrs. Freeman, these fees were approved.

GRADUATION FEE (29) A recommendation that a graduation fee of ten dollars, which shall include the cost of the diploma, be established effective September 1, 1933, and that the present diploma fee of ten dollars be discontinued. O n m o t i o n of M r . W i l l i a m s , this r e c o m m e n d a t i o n w a s a d o p t e d . INDEMNITY BOND FOR SECURITIES LOST IN TRANSIT (30) In December, 1932, a remittance sent by the Business Office to the First National Bank of Chicago was lost in connection with a mail robbery occurring on December 6. Included in this were coupons of the Appalachian Power Company amounting to $100. T h e Continental Illinois Bank is the paying agent for these coupons. T o secure reimbursement it is necessary to secure a bond of double the amount from a surety company. The expense of the bond will be reimbursed under the insurance carried on such remittances.
