172 BOARD OF TRUSTEES [ J a n u a r y 25 the Board that the First National Bank of Chicago will pay the University interest of one per cent to be credited monthly and the rate to remain in force until further notice. This was accepted by the Board. The Comptroller reports that the Treasurer advised him that on December 26, 1932, the rate of interest on the University's account became one-half of one per cent, and effective January 25 the rate will be one-quarter of one per cent.
