LINCOLN AVENUE DRAINAGE PROJECT At this point, President Barrett stated that he had granted a request for a hearing to M r . Victor Olander, Secretary of the Illinois Federation of Labor, and others who were interested in the Lincoln Avenue storm drain (Minutes, April 20, 1932, page 570). M r . Olander, M r . James Dunn, representing the Twin City Federation of Labor of Champaign and Urbana, Mr. F . T. Carson, representing the Urbana Association of Commerce, Mr. R. E . Winkelmann, Corporation Counsel of Urbana, and M r . Godfrey Sperling, Champaign County Surveyor, were introduced. M r . Olander, M r . Dunn, and Mr. Carson addressed the Board and urged that the University accept the assessment immediately. Action on this matter was deferred until the October meeting. MARTIN MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE Mr. Trees, for the Finance Committee, reported that the foreclosure proceedings against M r . W . B. Martin, et al., were now complete, and that title is now in the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. This property is described as follows: The South one-half (S.y2) of the Northeast Quarter ( N E # ) , and the Northwest one-fourth (NWJ4) of the Northeast Quarter (NEJ4), and the East one-half ( E . ^ ) of the Northwest Quarter (NW}4), and the Northeast onefourth (NEJ4) of the Southwest Quarter (SWJ4) ;—all in Section Thirty-two (32), Township Six (6) South, Range Three (3) East of the Third Principal Meridian.
