This recommendation is based on quotations secured from the General Electric Supply Corporation, the Holophane Company ($3226.06) and the Goodrich Electric Company ($1719.65). The latter is designed primarily for industrial or factory use and does not have the efficiency of the other two types. I concur in the recommendation. O n motion of M r s . E v a n s , this purchase w a s authorized as recommended.

(9) The Supervising Architect submits the following schedule of bids received for the finish hardware on the Woman's Gymnasium: Holder Hardware Co. (Bloomington) $2 141 Sargent & Co. (Chicago) 2 400 He recommends that the contract be awarded to the Holder Hardware Company on their quotation of $2,141.00, the cost to be paid from the appropriation for this building. OF NOYES HOUSE ON NEVADA STREET FROM PROPOSED RESIDENCE H A L L SITE (12) The Supervising Architect recommends that the Noyes House on Nevada Street, which stands on the site of the proposed new Residence Hall, be moved to the area at the northeast corner of the forestry. In that location it could be used as another cooperative house or a nurses' home. The cost of moving this house and putting it into livable condition will be about $7,000.
