1930] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS 123 PARK SYSTEM FOR MEDICAL CENTER Dr. Noble, for the committee on Chicago departments, made a report of progress on the proposed park system for the medical center. DATE OF DECEMBER MEETING On motion of M r . Trees, it was voted to hold the December meeting at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 1930. APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT The Secretary of the Board presented for record a l s of appointments it made by the President of the University. Aaronson, Abe L., Instructor in Physiological Chemistry, in the College of Medicine, on one-half time, beginning October 6, 1930, and continuing until September 1, 1931, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) a month. (October 29, 1930)1 Batko, J. B., Assistant in Anatomy, in the College of Medicine, on one-fourth time, for eight months beginning October 1, 1930, without salary. (October 31,1930) Berdahl, Mrs. Evelyn Tripp, Assistant in English, on two-thirds time, for three months beginning November 1, 1930, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred twenty dollars ($120) a month. (November 1, 1930) Browning, Levi M., Assistant in Anatomy, in the College of Medicine, on onefourth time, for eight months beginning October 1, 1930, without salary.
