The necessary number of credits additional to those provided for in the prescribed subjects and the required two major electives, may be secured from any of the subjects offered in the College of Literature and Arts, or in the College of Science, the requirements for which the student can meet. COURSES OF INSTRUCTION BY YEARS AND TERMS All the prescribed subjects must be finished by the end of

the sophomore year.

The following statement gives the years and terms in which they must be taken. Students in the general course who take Greek and Latin may omit the science required.
