Pomeroy 1920-1924 William Everett Britton 1924— Under the law the University has been charged with the appointment of a board of three examiners, at least two of whom must have been "skilled in the practice of accounting and actively engaged therein in the State of Illinois, and the third either an accountant or an attorney skilled in commercial law." The original Board of Examiners appointed by the Board of Trustees June 8, 1903, on the recommendation of the President of the University, was composed as follows, the dates indicating the term of service: Alden W . In addition 103 certificates have been issued under the waiver clause. The total number of certificates issued is, therefore, 666.
