I924] UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS II7 ADJOURNED SESSION OF NOVEMBER 22, 1924 W h e n the Board convened at Urbana on November 22, 1924, pursuant to the adjournment taken on November 15, 1924, the following members were present: President Noble, Mr. Armstrong, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, Mrs, Ickes, Mr. Trees. President Kinley was present. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of October 18 and 25, 1924. O n motion of Mr. Armstrong, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 75 to i n above. MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT KINLEY The Board considered the following matters presented by the President of the University. BIDS ON WOMAN'S RESIDENCE HALL (1) A schedule of the revised bids on the West Residence Hall, with a recommendation from the Supervising Architect that the contract be awarded to Otto Randolph, the low bidder, on the basis of his bid of $190,627, and with a clause providing a bonus of $100 a day for completion before September 1, 1925, and a penalty of one hundred dollars a day for completion after September I, 1925, with a limit of thirty days on bonus and penalty.
