(13) T h e interim chancellor at Chicago has recommended the appointment of Victor Margolin, presently associate professor of history of architecture and art, as chair of the Department of History of Architecture and Art, beginning September 14, 1990, on an academic year service basis at an annual salary of $41,842. Dr. Margolin will continue to hold the rank of associate professor on indefinite tenure. He succeeds Robert Munman who resigned as acting chair of the department effective August 3 1 , 1990. This recommendation is made with the advice of the faculty of the Department of History of Architecture and Art. T h e vice president for academic affairs concurs. I recommend approval.
