Funds are available in the Auxiliary Facilities System Repair and Replacement Reserve account and from the Restricted Funds operating budget of the Illini Union. A schedule of the bids received and a description of the alternates have been filed with the secretary of the board for record. O n motion of Mr. Boyle, these contracts were awarded by the following vote: Aye, Dr. Bacon, Mr. Boyle, Mrs. Calder, Mr. Grabowski, Mrs. Gravenhorst, Mr. Lamont, Ms. Reese, Mrs. Shepherd, Mr. Wolff; no, none; absent, Governor Edgar. Contracts, Minor Building Alterations, Repairs, and New Construction, Chicago (23) T h e president of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends award of the following cost-plus contracts for minor building alterations, repairs, and new construction at the Chicago campus for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1992, the awards being made to the lowest responsible bidders. T h e University has the option to extend the contracts from July 1, 1992, to June 30, 1993, and from July 1, 1993, to June 30, 1994, under the same terms and conditions, subject to approval by the Board of Trustees.
