This recommendation was approved. (36) COMPTROLLER'S R E P O R T The report of the Comptroller for the year ending June 30,1920. This report was received for record. W I D O W ' S ALLOWANCE FOR MRS. C Y R I L G. HOPKINS At this point, Mr. Trimble presented for the Finance Committee a recommendation that a widow's allowance of $1370 a year be granted to Mrs. Cyril G. Hopkins. This allowance, which is effective September 1, 1920, is computed according to the formula of the Carnegie Foundation. On motion of Mr. Trimble, this allowance was granted, by the following vote: Aye: Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Carr, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Herbert, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Trimble, Mr. Ward; no, none, absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Blake, Mr. Lowden.
