ORCHESTRA CONCERTS (10) A recommendation from Messrs. J. Lawrence Erb and Lloyd Morey that the price of season tickets for the Symphony course be advanced from $2.00 to $2.50, the price of single admission tickets remaining at $.75 a concert. The total income of the course for the present year will be approximately $4,000, an increase of about $250 over the income for 1915-16. The expense of the course for the present season will be approximately $5,000, and this will be the probable expense for the coming season. It is hoped that by this increase in the price of tickets the deficit of nearly $1000 will be wiped out On motion of Miss Watson, this recommendation was approved. COOPERATIVE MINING INVESTIGATION (11) A letter from Dean C. R. Richards concerning an increased appropriation for the Cooperative Coal Mining Investigation, enclosing a statement of the work which has been done under this head by Professor H. H. Stoek. No action was taken in this matter. GRADUATION OF SENIORS W H O ENLIST (12) A statement concerning the policy of the University as to graduating members of the present senior class who desire to enlist in the military or naval service of the Union. On motion of Mrs. Evans, it was voted to authorize the University Senate to recommend for graduation on June 13, 1917, members of the present senior class in good standing who may enlist in the military or naval service of the Union between this date and the close of the academic year in June.
