for the purchase of forty acres of land at the southeast corner of the back farm described as follows, to-wit: The north half ( % ) , of the east half ( % ) , of the southwest quarter ( % ) , of section 19, township 9 north, range 9 east of the third P. M., containing forty acres more or less and that an option has been taken upon this forty acres at the price above named, which option will have to be taken up by the first of June. It was voted that the comptroller be directed to take up the option on the forty acres of land described, for which the General Assembly has made an appropriation of twenty thousand dollars, and that the sum in payment of the same be charged to agricultural funds. The committee adjourned.
