The Committee of the Whole recommended, finally, that the board approve the introduction into the Greneral Assembly of an Agricultural Bill comprising the following items, as representing the ideal towards which the University should work as rapidly as possible:

It was moved that the Board of Trustees approve the recommendations of the Committee of the Whole. This; motion was passed by the following vote: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Bahrenburg, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Grout, Mr. Hatch, Mr; Hoit; no, none; absent, Mr. Anthony, Mr. Blair, Governor Deneen, Mr. Meeker, Mr. Moore. • It was voted that the president of the University be authorized to draft bills providing for appropriations for the purposes and in the amounts specified above, and to secure the introduction of these bills in the General Assembly. The board adjourned.
