Mr. Abbott read a communication from Mr. Odernheimer of Champaign, asking for a definite statement from the Board of Trustees with reference to the pavement of Fourth street in Champaign, along Unin versity grounds, and, on motion of Mr. Abbott, the following was adopted: The board hereby declares its intention to ask of the next General Assenv bly an appropriation of $5,740 for the purpose of defraying its part in thepaving of Fourth street along the University grounds provided an assessment for said paving has already been made and approved and the contract let therefor.
