DEAN OF GRADUATE SCHOOL. The motion to adopt the President's recommendation with regard to the Dean of the Graduate School was passed. 5. I recommend that the statutes of the University be so amended as to make the Vice President of the University and the Dean of the Graduate School both members of the Council. Voted that said recommendation be approved. . DEAN OF COLLEGE OF LITERATURE AND ARTS. 6. I recommend that Prof. Evarts B. Greene be appointed Acting Dean of the College of Literature and Arts at a salary of $2,500.00 a year. Appointment and salary to date from February 1, 1906. Voted that said recommendation be approved.
