The Board is also requested to appropriate]^ definite sum to pay the expenses of the committee to inspect heating1 plants. At the September meeting of the Board'$100.00 was appropriated for a detector clock, to be placed in each of the University buildings. No purchase has been made, as a desirable system would cost $200.00, 1 am told. In this connection attention is requested to Paper P. It seems desirable that some action should be taken in regard to several of the land contracts, which, I understand, are delinquent in payments for two years. I believe that in some of these cases the land should be taken possession of by the University. Attention is called to Paper Q. Eespectfully submitted,
