This was referred to the Finance Committee. The Board then adjourned to meet at 8 o'clock a. m. Wednesday, December 15, 1897. SESSION OF WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 1897. When the Board met iDursuant to adjournment the same members were present as at the preceding session. The Secretary spoke of the offer of some person or persons claiming to represent an institution styled by them the "National University of Illinois, Chicago," to grant degrees, as indicated by
