The Auditing Committee submitted the following report:

To the Honorable Board of Trustees: ; Your Auditing: Committee r e p o r t t h a t t h e y have examined w a r r a n t s a n d v o u c h e r s from No. 551 to 750, both inclusive, a n d find t h e m to all a p p e a r a n c e correct, a s r e p o r t e d by t h e B u s i n e s s Agent, also that they find the T r e a s u r e r ' s report correct, a n d t h e y recommend, t h e approval of both reports. $250 from the State Appropriations for Buildings a n l Grounds were appropriated for the completion of the rooms of the Laboratory of Natural History. The matter of an over expenditure of $80.99 above the appropriation in fitting up janitor's rooms, was referred to the Committee on Buildings and Grounds for report at next meeting. For the furnishing of the Zoological Laboratory $400 were appropriated from such funds as were not otherwise assigned. The Begent and Prof Bicker asked, and were granted further time for their report on permanent water supply. A. bill of traveling expenses of the Begent amounting to $156.86 was audited and allowed, and a warrant for the same was ordered to be drawn. Trustee Bennett, from special committee, made the following report:
