TRIAL OF IMPLEMENTS. The following report gives the result of a trial of Implements made on the University Farm in June, 1871, a precedent which, it is hoped and anticipated, will be followed by more work in the same direction: UNIVERSITY FARM, To the Corresponding Secretary of the Industrial University : June 15, 1871. At the request of Prof. T. J. Burrill, a number of farmers met for the purpose of examining and testing several corn cultivators and other implements for stirring the soil. The undersigned were selected a committee to examine the implements and to report to the University the result of their investigations. I n accordance with this arrangement of the farmers present, we respectfully submit the following report.
