On-site Storm Water Technology Adoption for the Chicago Green Homes Program

203 Mumford Hall The Chicago Green Homes Program is a residential program. The goal of this research is to determine if there are certain census-tract level demographics that influence participation in the storm water elements of the Chicago Green Homes Program. Our model will analyze whether income, age, education, home ownership, multi-family dwellings, and race influence whether or not participants use storm water management practices that receive credit in the Program. These practices include green roofs, rain barrels, rain gardens, permeable materials, and native landscapes.
