Landmarks
Every university has its "landmarks", those buildings and monuments that grow to symbolize the spirit of campus and remain to embody the memories of past alumni and beckon forth to future students. From the historic Morrow Plots and Round Barns which serve as the last bastions of the University's humble beginnings as a Land Grant institution, to the Main Quad and Illini Union that have served as a second home to students for the better part of the last century, the University of Illinois' symbols ring strong and ring true.
