ELECTRICAL

MEASUREMENT

LABORATORY ONE FOR OF THE SMALL LABORATORIES AND RESEARCH SPECIAL EXPERIMENTS

F O R advanced students in magnetic and electrical work of high precision. Calibration standards are kept corrected for use in a special even temperature room.

T H E S E laboratories are supplied with water, gas, compressed air and experimental electrical circuits, and double shades for darkening. There are twenty-five other similar laboratories.

SHOP THE PHYSICS SEMINAR AND LIBRARY

T H I S shop is equipped with tools for making and repairing delicate apparatus for research and instruction. Two mechanicians are employed. A compressor for liquid air is shown a t the far end.

T H I S room contains standard reference works, the newer books, and duplicates of late series of the standard journals of physics. The main University Library is rich in sets of all the leading scientific journals and translations.
