soon after the beginning of the following term. Those who fail to pass the term examination are precluded from proceeding with any University work without special permission. A record is kept of each student's standing. TERMS AND VACATIONS The University year is divided into three terms. The first covers fourteen weeks of instruction and each of the others eleven. There is a vacation of two weeks at the end of the first term, and of one week at the end of the second. For the dates of opening and closing see the calendar, p. —. GRADUATION The requirements for graduation are specified under the several colleges.*
