half dollars a term. They have all the privileges of the library and of the jublie lectures, and are required to drill. Ni B. No student is matriculated as a college student until all preparatory studies are completed.

ACCREDITED HIGH SCHOOLS. The Faculty, after personal examination, appoint accredited High Schools, whose graduate< may be admitted to the University without furth r examination within one year after the date of their graduation. The e must be schools of first-rate character, whose courses of instruction include all the studies required for admission to some one of the colleges of the University. On application, a member of the Faculty is sent to examine the school making application, as to its facilities for teaching, its course and methods of instruction, and the general proficiency shown. If the report is favorable, the name of the school is entered in th; published list of High Schools, accredited by the University. The graduates of these schools are admitted to any of the colleges for which their studies may have prepared them. The appointment continues as long as the work of the school is found satisfactory. Annual reports are ask d from these schools.
