EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, OCTOBER 20, 1922

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the University in Urbana, on Friday, October 20, 1922, immediately following the adjournment of the meeting of the Board on the same day. All the members of the Committee were present: M r . Abbott, M r s . Busey, and M r . Hoit; also M r s . Blake, M r s . Evans, M r s . Grigsby, M r . Noble, and M r . Trimble, members of the Board, President David Kinley, Professor J. M . White, and M r . Lewis, representing Schmidt and Garden, Architects. CONTRACTS FOR THE MEDICAL RESEARCH BUILDING Mr. Lewis presented contracts for the construction of the Medical Research Library and Laboratory Building according to the revised plans calling for the omission of one bay, as follows: Summary of original bids and other expenses, and of the deductions proposed by Schmidt and Garden to keep the cost of the building and equipment within the appropriation in accordance with the instructions from the Executive Committee on September 30, 1922. This memorandum was submitted by Mr. Lewis to the Executive Committee on October 20, and approved as a basis for the award of contracts. C. A. Moss Constr. Co.
